The Veterans Administration and Vet Centers across the Country are doing an outstanding job treating our soldiers for PTSD. Our mission is to compliment their efforts through specialization centers with our Athena Program. Our goal is to work in concert with the Veterans Hospitals to provide specific specialty care services on a referral basis.
These valiant women must move through a life cycle beginning with the role of primary nurturers of their families, then to soldiers, to warriors and back to their families. As the military has evolved, so must our direction in how we provide support for our returning heroines. This is the purpose of Lady Vets and the Athena Program.

Focus on female combat veterans returning from combat theaters and separating from military service. Validation of the female veteran through realistic therapy in a healthy environment, addressing the long lasting residual effects of combat stress. Educate the female veteran through educational and realistic therapy in a healthy environment addressing the long lasting residual effects of combat stress. Transitional Therapy by providing an authentic, action-based bridge from their military experience back to their civilian life and goals. |
